Welcome to the Shrine Auction for the Street Children of Oaxaca.  I am very honored to be a part of this inspiring auction and I hope that you visit each and every artist to see their wonderful creations.

After visiting Oaxaca several years ago for Day of The Dead, I have thought of the street children there and thought of my own son. I wish for them a safe place to sleep and hope as they grow up and so much more. Together we can make a difference in these children's lives and their futures.

My shrine this year is a painting entitled, "La Noche". It speaks to me of the flaming heart of love and life. What we feel, see and touch - our dreams - la noche.

The painting measures 12" X 12"" with a 2" museum style frame around the sides.

I think Rebecca said it best~your pieces are so quintessentiall y Mexican. I really like the use of modern imagery and fonts! A bold reminder of the importance hope and dreams, especially with children
